1. I have an entrepreneurial mindset. I grew up around entrepreneurs, my father started his business at just 19, and I enjoy reading books on entrepreneurs and watching shows like Shark Tank.
2. I am driven. If I put my mind to something I will accomplish it no matter how hard or long it takes me to reach my goal.
3. I have so many life goals written and planned out and will not stop until all of them are achieved.
4. I am an adrenaline junky and do my best under pressure. Even if I procrastinate, some of my best work comes when I am working under a time constraint.
5. I am stubborn, in a good way. If someone has a different view then me and tries to persuade me otherwise, I will stick to my belief. I stand firm in what I believe in and will defend my views.

Gaby- She emphasized my organization skills and how I always put others before myself. She too talked about how I never let my emotions get the best of me.
I think that I see myself as a stickler with sticking to a schedule and achieving my goals, while others see me as kind of a go with the flow type of person. I really agree with that because although I may have a lot of assignments to complete, I tend to not show that I am stressed out on the outside. I also think that I am really hard on myself and when it comes to grades that really shows through and a lot of the people that I interviewed recognized that. I do think my interviewers were right about me they are my best friends and some even my family and they are around me 24/7 so sometimes they might even know me better than I know myself. I think my list I would keep pretty much the same, maybe add about how I never let my emotions get the best of me or interfere with what I am doing since that seemed to be a common trait that all of the interviewees touched on.
Jayme,
ReplyDeleteI identify with a lot of your self-given traits! I also am stubborn, very driven, and love to plan out my goals for every aspect of my life and for every length of time possible. My friends and family also brought up my work ethic and my ability to separate emotion and logic when under pressure - both of which is are invaluable tools, as you know! Also, you seem to be a very organized person with both your time and your life in general, so props to you for that! That's a big accomplishment to have under control already in college.
