Elevator Pitch No. 1

This elevator pitch describes the opportunity for a rent a wheel chair van company at Orlando International Airport. The need to provide convenient transportation transportation in Orlando for people in wheelchairs is there, and I believe that my "Rent-A-Wheelchair Van" Company will do just that.

I liked your pitch. I think it was informative, cogent and eye-opening. I think we tend to forget about the people who are unable to move around on a daily basis the way most people do. The only thing missing is the dollars required for this venture. As an investor I would like to know a ballpark estimate to start this business as well as a ballpark figure of return. Overall great pitch.

  2. Jayme,
Your pitch was very informative, I never realized the need for such a company. It's usually not something most people need unless they've experienced the struggle. There is definitely room to grow for this venture, with baby boomers reaching older ages and the fact that life expectancy is on the rise too, this can really turn into a nationwide company that can be located near airports and those main attractions. Great job!

  4. Hi Jayme,

Very good job making the case for the unmet need, and providing multiple examples of related needs being met by other companies. Good energy and emphasis on key points. There might be some actual statistics about how many people in wheelchairs arrive at the Orlando airport, some hard numbers might be good to include. Great job, overall!
